House-to-house TB screening
National TB Management Guidelines, 2018 Edition. Chapter 3, Systematic TB screening in high risk groups.
Clinical description
- Those aged >10 years will be targeted for this intervention.
- The targets will be individuals in low-income urban areas and a few selected rural
hotpots.
- Symptomatic TB screening tools will be used.
- Xpert / microscopy will be used for further work-up of presumptive TB cases
- Volunteers will conduct regular screening
