Confirming adherence to appointment
Clinical HIV Guidelines, 5th Edition, 2022. Chapter 18, Continuing ART.
Clinical description
- On the patient card, look at the Next Appointment Date given from the previous visit to confirm
that the patient is not late.
- The patient is likely to have missed doses if s/he is more than 2 days late. Compare and validate
with Pill Count and the reported number of Doses Missed.
