TB meningitis

Clinical description
The regimen for TBM is 2SRHZE/7RH, i.e., two months of streptomycin plus FDC RHZE given daily under close supervision, followed by seven months of daily RH.
Corticosteroids should be given with the anti-TB drugs as they have been shown to significantly reduce the risk of death in patients with TB meningitis (see Table 7.16).
