1.3.1 New def initions (Section 5)
- WHO revised recommendations for recording and reporting of TB (2013 and 2015).
- WRD (WHO approved rapid diagnostics),
- TB HIV reporting will focus on reporting for incident TB cases and exclude those who
are retreatment after failure, lost to follow up and with unknown treatment outcome of recent course of treatment
- The definition of a ‘relapse case’ now requires previous successful completion of
treatment.
