Round reddened plaques with scaly edge in multiple sites, possibly widespread
Treatment
Whitfield’s ointment Clotrimazole cream or Gentian-Violet paint Apply twice daily for 3-4 weeks Secondary management Griseofulvin tablets Adult: 500 mg 12-hourly for 4-6 weeks Child: 20mg/kg per day for 4-6 weeks
