Clinical Description
- Tuberculosis treatment
- up to 9 months (2RHZE 7RH)
- Corticosteroids not recommended, but consider in severe spinal cord compression to reduce oedematous swelling
- Spinal surgery in case of:
- extensive extradural compression
- no improvement/worsening or deficits after conservative treatment
- unstable spine
- kyphosis >60°
