Glasgow Coma Scale (adults & children ≥ 12 years)

Clinical description

The Glasgow Coma Scale provides a score in the range of three to 15. Patients with scores of three to eight are usually said to be in a coma. To determine the Glasgow coma score, calculate the score for each section, then add the three figures. The minimum possible Glasgow Coma Scale score is 3, while the minimum Blantyre Coma Scale score is zero.
